Access data (server log files)

When you visit our website, our hosting provider (IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany) automatically collects data about access to the website. This data is stored in so-called server log files. It includes in particular:

  • the page visited
  • date and time of access
  • amount of data sent in bytes
  • the source/referrer from which you reached the page
  • browser and operating system used
  • IP address (in anonymised form)

This data is used for technical monitoring and security (e.g. to detect attempted attacks) and is not combined with other data sources or analysed by us.

Contacting us

You can contact us directly via the e-mail address or phone number given on the website. Personal data transmitted in this context (e.g. name, e-mail address, message) is stored exclusively to process your request and is not passed on to third parties.

Order form

If you place an order using our order form, we process the data you enter (name, address, e-mail address, optionally phone number and message) to perform the contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). Data is only passed on to third parties where this is necessary to perform the contract (e.g. to shipping service providers).

Cookies, tracking and external content

We do not use cookies for analysis or advertising purposes and do not embed external fonts, maps or tracking services. Technically necessary cookies that may be set by our hosting provider (e.g. to deliver the website) are subject to its privacy policy: www.ionos.de/terms-gtc/datenschutzerklaerung.

“DST Training” app and “DST Competition” software

Separate privacy information applies to our timing software. The DST Training app stores all data exclusively locally on the device. The event software DST Competition also works locally; only it offers the option of storing data in a cloud – exclusively with the user’s explicit consent.

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • information about the data stored
  • rectification of incorrect data
  • erasure of your data, unless statutory retention obligations apply
  • restriction of processing
  • object to processing
  • data portability (where applicable)
  • lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy as necessary, e.g. in the event of legal changes or technical extensions to our website.
